I have Apex Legends low FPS problem with Ryzen 5 5600X + RTX 3070. I recently changed my CPU from a Ryzen5 3600 to a Ryzen5 5600X. Since then my FPS has dropped from 165 to around 60~110. The problem only occurs in Apex Legends, other games like VALORANT have stable FPS. My PC configuration is below. The data suggests otherwise. Remember this is not a full RTX 3070, it only uses up to 140w of power at max. Your absolute best performance will be at 1080p resolutions. Bro i have the same lap, when the game starts its stable 120 (caped at that fps), when minions start to come out, i start to drop to 100-80, and in tf i drop to 60 even 59. It aligns the monitor and gpu outputs. But that only works at monitor refresh or below. Vsync enabled will basically cap fps to set stages, refresh and then 50% of each stage in succession, so if you drop below refresh, you'll be into freesync territory. I'd enable both. But try the VSR, it's in the Radeon settings. Here's the thing, a lot of the games I played on my 7900 XT have left me with a worse experience than my old RTX 2070. For example I notice that the 7900 XT stutters a lot in open world games when things need to load in or changes in the environment which is weird. For example cutting a tree in New World switches the model to a tree that falls Right-click the empty area on your desktop to invoke a menu and click Display settings. Scroll down and click Display resolution. Select a lower resolution value from the drop-down list and apply the change. Now start your game again. If you’re still facing the game stuttering issue, read on and try the fix below. In Cs Go on FFA servers with 20 players on it I get like 200 fps average and drops to 100 fps frequently, the GPU usage is around 40% on average. But even on 40% usage I feel like I should get a lot more fps in cs go. I play on 1280 x 960 and mainly low settings. In League of Legends I have like 110-150 fps on 5% - 10% GPU usage. Relaunch the game and see if the performance improves. 2. Close Unused Applications.
